MAGNOLIA 4-H

Thank you for checking out our livestock judging page! Livestock judging is an excellent way to teach kids how to evaluate and raise livestock, work as a team, analyze data, and execute quick decisions. In this contest, a team of four individuals will be given between 8-10 minutes to look at a class of four animals, of the same species, and compare them, then place them from first to last. They will move through the contest judging 6-10 classes of four animals each. There is a correct placement for each class based on the decision of the official panel of judges. Individuals are scored based on the accuracy of their class placements. The team of four individuals will then combine their final scores for an overall team score, counting the highest three scores of the team.

We are in need of a project leader for livestock judging.  If you're interested, please contact us.
