"The Veterinary Science Certificate Program provides 4-H students with the knowledge, motivation, and skills necessary to pursue their educational/career goals. This program also provides a sound platform for students who wish to pursue an associate, undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree in the veterinary science field. Students who complete the program receive Veterinary Assistant (VA) classification and are eligible for CVA certification through the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA)."

CONTEST INFORMATION:
Junior Division: participants must be 8 years of age (in addition to being in the 3rd grade) and not over 13 years of age.
Senior Division: participants must be 14 to 18 years of age as of August 31, 2022.
